Why should i join dallas aazk?
Dallas AAZK provides opportunities for both animal keepers and Dallas Zoo enthusiasts to support conservation programs of their choosing, financial support for professional development, expanding leadership skills, social activities, and having a voice of their own. The members put on multiple events throughout the year to support these opportunities.
how do i join?
To join the local Dallas AAZK Chapter, you must pay $5 dues (if your are a National AAZK member) or $10 (if you are NOT a National AAZK member). You should also attend as many meetings as possible and provide support for our various events throughout the year.
why should i become a national member of aazk?
By becoming a National AAZK member, you get a discount on your local dues, a discount on the National AAZK Conference, the Keeper's Forum Magazine that is published monthly which provides animal husbandry articles from zoos from all over the country, and can vote for National AAZK officers.
Local Membership Dues are $5 per calendar year. There is a $1 service fee for paying online. You may also pay cash in person at our next AAZK meeting.
